Alternatives to Caned Seats
Fiber Seat Boards are excellent replacement seats for chairs that originally had caned, cardboard, or leather seats. This particular fiberboard features a molded flower design and is designed to fit down into a square hole in the chair seat.
Note: Ensure the pattern fits by confirming your chair’s opening is larger than the molded section. This model requires a minimum opening of 8-2/5" x 8".
The fiber seat comes in a light reddish-brown color, which can be stained to a darker tone if desired. Browse our stain collection.

Dimensions
- Untrimmed Seat: 12-1/2" x 12-1/2"
- Front to Back (A): 8"
- Left to Right at Back (B): 6-3/4"
- Left to Right at Front (C): 8-1/4"
Don’t forget the tacks. Tacks should be spaced no more than 2" from center to center, though spacing is up to your preference.
