Transform new solid brass or bronze hardware into beautifully aged pieces with our easy-to-use Brass Ager solution. Available in both 8oz and 32oz bottles, this solution ensures you have the right amount for any project. Simply submerge the item until the desired patina is achieved. If needed, the process is reversible by polishing. Note that this solution only works on unlacquered metals; lacquered surfaces must be stripped first. ***Again, please note: This product will only work on solid brass. If your item(s) are plated brass, then order our Nickel Ager instead.

To test for solid or plated brass you'll need a magnet. If the item sticks to the magnet it is NOT solid brass. If it does not stick, then it is solid brass.
