Cane webbing (also called machine-woven cane, pre-woven cane or sheet cane) is cane woven by machine from strands of chair cane. It is sold by the inch & primarily used for re-doing cane chairs that have a groove around the seat opening rather than drilled holes. **If your chair seat (or back) has holes drilled into the wood around the outside edge of the large hole, you will need to do hand weaving. This is a closed woven pattern.
To determine the amount of webbing required; measure from the outside edges of the groove at the widest point, front to back and side to side & add 2".
