Medium Close Woven Cane

Cane webbing (also called machine-woven cane, pre-woven cane or sheet cane) is cane woven by machine from strands of chair cane. It is sold by the inch & primarily used for re-doing cane chairs that have a groove around the seat opening rather than drilled holes. **If your chair seat (or back) has holes drilled into the wood around the outside edge of the large hole, you will need to do hand weaving. To determine the amount of webbing required; measure from the outside edges of the groove at the widest point, front to back and side to side & add 2".
