Mar-a-Way Instant Restorer

When And When Not To Use Mar-a-Way:

Do use on piece of furniture with an existing finish that is in good condition.
Do Not use on a cracked or crazed finish. If you do, the liquid will penetrate down to the bare wood possibly causing contamination problems in the future if you choose to refinish the piece.
Do Not use Mar-a-Way on furniture that only has wax on it.
Do Not use on raw, unfinished wood.

What color of Mar-a-way should I order?

Mar-a-way is tinted so that it will conceal nicks, scratches, and abrasions. For best results, match Mar-a-way to the color of your finish. Use Walnut Mar-a-way for medium to dark brown finishes; Mahogany Mar-a-way for deep red tones; Maple Mar-a-way for the orange/brown tones of a typical maple finish; Oak Mar-a-way for light brown finishes; and Neutral Mar-a-way if you want a cleaner that you can use on a variety of colors in your home, without the ability to color scratches.

How is Mar-a-way applied?

Apply Mar-a-way with a soft cloth for gloss finishes or #0000 steel wool for satin finishes. Use a soft cloth to wipe dry with a few brisk strokes to bring out luster. We recommend trying Mar-a-way for the first time in an inconspicuous area to be sure that your finish does not respond in an unusual manner.
