We feature Daly's Wood Stain.
We have used it in our shop for over 20 years! It isn't the only stain we use, but the one we use most often.
We refinish antique or used furniture which means there are signs of aging in the wood; nicks, dings, scratches, stains, etc. Daly's is a penetrating, pigmented stain that is fade resistant. Because it is pigmented, it has the ability to blend and/or cover flaws. It does not completely cover the wood grain, it just does some blending, which is often needed in these types of projects. Because color may vary depending on wood type, we recommend testing your stain selection on a sample of your wood. To assure even color penetration on soft woods such as fir, hemlock and pine we advise conditioning the wood with Daly’s Benite.
Daly's Stain is oil based.
NOTE: Stains cannot be shipped outside the continental U.S.!*
